color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO has prepared a new and comprehensive database on all university international protocols and agreements.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">Completion of writing a cooperative protocol between Aswan university and Kazan (Volga region) Federal University in the field of scientific research.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">\u00a0GICO has applied with a joint project with the Romanian university RO TIMISOA03 for Erasmus+ program for experience, academic staff and students exchange in the fields of science, agriculture, ichthyology and veterinary medicine.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO has managed to enroll Aswan university in the European Union projects programs (Horizon 2020 &amp; Erasmus+) and activate Aswan university PIC number.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO managed to join Aswan university in the African Universities Union which is headquartered in Accra, Ghana.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO managed to join Aswan university in the International Association of Universities (IAU) which is headquartered in France.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">Aswan University is applying with some proposals to be funded from the national and international entities and is waiting for evaluation and approval.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">Science &amp; Technology Development Fund (STDF) approved on funding several projects.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">The office organized a workshop entitled &#8221; how to write a project proposal&#8221; in the faculty of engineering for the academic staff and their assistants on the 11<sup>th<\/sup> of January 2017.The Erasmus+ team lectured in the workshop.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">The ministry of international cooperation approved on funding &#8220;anti-blindness and cataract&#8221; project presented from the faculty of medicine, Aswan university.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO organized a workshop entitled&#8221; how to find opportunities to study abroad&#8221; in cooperation with Amideast office, Cairo and the USA embassy in Cairo.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO organized an informative workshop on the international and national funding entities.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">The university has applied with about 8 projects to several international entities and managed to get 3 projects funded from the European Union Erasmus+.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">GICO in cooperation with New Horizons Company and the cultural center of the USA embassy organized a workshop on &#8221;
