Dear Colleagues,

European Commission has announced the Open call for proposal for the Individual Fellowship Scheme of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon 2020 Programme

This action is meant to support individual researchers from anywhere in the world. Mobility across borders is a must and Cross-sectoral mobility is also encouraged.

Experienced researchers (Researchers in possession of a doctoral degree or has at least four years’ full-time equivalent research experience by the time of the call deadline) can apply based on an application prepared  jointly by the researcher and the supervisor in the host organisation in an academic or non-academic sector.

All Individual Fellowships are expected to strengthen the contact network of both the researcher and the host organisation, to support the development of researchers’ career and to enhance and maximise their contribution to the knowledge-based economy and society. This grant supports an allowance to cover living, travel and family Allowances for the Fellow – as illustrated in the table hereinafter – and also the research costs and overheads of the host organisation (usually an university, a research center or a company) in an European Country or Associated Country (AC) to Horizon 2020 programme.

Global Fellowships*
  • The Global Fellowships start with a significant period (1 to 2 years) spent at a partner organisation located outside of Europe and conclude with a mandatory return phase in Europe.
